Paul E. Ryan, son of
Paul Francis Ryan and
Olive Josephine Monson, on 20 June 1955 in Verdun, France. Helene Jeanette Triem died on 19 March 2009 in Mercer Island, WA,
Obituary: Ryan, Helene Jeanette "Jean" (Triem) of Bellevue, WA passed away Thursday, Mar. 19, 2009 at Mercer Island Care & Rehabilitation Center at the age of 75. The end for Jean was peaceful with her husband, Paul, at her side.
Jean was born in Chicago, IL on May 18, 1933 to Harrie B. and Helen (Langer) Triem. During her formative years, the Triem family resided in Chicago, IL; Milwaukee, WI; Duluth, MN and Fargo, ND before settling in Minneapolis, Minn. in 1950. There Jean finished her education at Central High School and met her husband to be in 1951.
After High School Jean worked at a local Bank and an Insurance Co. Engaged in 1954, Jean accepted an invitation from Paul in 1955 to come to France and get married in Verdun where he was stationed with the Army. In June, 1955 Jean journeyed from Minneapolis by train and boat, by herself and at her own expense, to Paris, France where Paul met her train and then escorted her to Verdun (pop. ~20,000). They were married in Verdun on June 20, 1955. They returned to the US in July, 1956 by Military Transport Ship (a week before the sinking of the Andrea Doria). Jean went to work for Ace Lines Trucking Co. as a secretary while Paul finished school. In Jan., 1959 the family, now 3, moved to Seattle where Paul started his career with Boeing and Jean went to work as the homemaker. By 1962 the family had grown to 5 keeping Jean very busy. In Dec., 1966 the family moved to our present home in Bellevue. In 1975, when the girls were in their teens, Jean went back to work as a bookkeeper for W. K. Martin; retiring in 1993. Jean belonged to several organizations, including the Girl Scouts of America, the Evergreen Artists, the German Interest Group of the Eastside Genealogical Society, and she was also one of the founders of the Eastside Association of Fine Arts and a local chapter of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. Sewing, quilting, drawing and painting were among her many hobbies, but her true love was watercolor painting. Additionally, she spent 25 years researching her family history eventually locating and visiting "cousins" in Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Betty Mae.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Paul; daughters, Ann Ryan of Olympia, WA, Kathleen Ryan Ursa and her husband, David of Bartlett, IL; Nancy Ryan and her husband Kevin Hendricks, of Seattle, WA; grandson, Ryan Wilson, of Puyallup; and two granddaughters, Meghan Ursa and Penelope Hendricks.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm to 1:30 p.m. with funeral services following on March 26 at Sunset Hills Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 1215 - 145th Place SE, Bellevue, WA, 425-746-1400. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Medic One, Bellevue; Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America; or Overlake Hospital, Bellevue, WA.
Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Jean was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by her family, neighbors and all the friends whose lives she touched with her friendship, compassion and love. She is now at rest.
She was buried in March 2009 in Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Bellevue, King Co., WA, Garden of Hope, Lot 92. Findagrave #55252510.

OBITUARY #2 - The Granville (Ohio) Times, Thursday, October 10, 1912
Mrs. S. Larimore
On Friday afternoon, October the 4, at half past one an unusually beautiful and impressive service was held over all that was mortal of Mrs. S. C. Larimore at her late home in Outville.
Love and sympathy found mute expression in the profusion of beautiful floral offerings which loving hands had arranged about the casket and was further voiced in the musical selections exquisitely rendered by Rev. and Mrs. Wright. The services were conducted by Rev. M. A. Wright, who spoke in tender and comforting words which fell like a benediction of healing on the sore hearts of the family.
During the last illness of eleven months she manifested to all the increased gentleness of manner the Christian resignation the serene and steadfast look forward to the hereafter with a certain hope of a happy reunion with her lived ones on the other shore.
"They never quite leave us, our friends who have passed,
Through the shadow of death to the sunlight above;
A thousand sweet memories holding them fast,
To the places they blessed with their presence and love."
She leaves to mourn her death two sons: William Larimore of Kirkersville, Frank G. Larimore of Columbus, and two daughters, Mrs. Frank P. Leatherman and Miss Belle of Outville.
Mrs. Samantha Catherine Larimore, wife of the late Daniel Larimore was the daughter of Isaac and Anna Essex of Etna, Ohio. She was the last one of twelve children. Born June 8, 1828, died October 2, 1912.
She was buried in October 1912 in Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville, Licking Co., OH.

Devisees File Answer.
In the case of Eber S. Mitchell vs. Ezra O. Mitchell and others, the defendants, Ezra O. Mitchell and wife, and Maria Mitchell, have filed their answers to the petition of the plaintiff. They say that they are both children and devisees of John Mitchell, deceased, and are entitled each to the undivided one-fifth of all the lands described in the petition, subject to the life estate of Maria Mitchell, widow of John Mitchell, deceased. That since the death of John Mitchell, his widow, Maria Mitchell, entered into a contract in writing with the plaintiff and the defendants, Ezra O., Mitchell, Isaac H. Mitchell, Sarah E. Mitchell, J. E. Wilson, guardian of Daniel N. Mitchell, an imbecile, by the terms of which all of the devisees conveyed to Maria Mitchell for the term of her natural life time all of the lands sought to be partitioned. Defendants deny that Eber S. Mitchell is entitled to partition of the real estate during the life time of Maria Mitchell, and that the plaintiff is estopped by his own act in conveying the life estate to Maria Mitchell from obtaining any of the relief demanded in his petition. Defendants ask the plaintiff's petition be dismissed. S. Leamon, attorney.
