Biography

James W. Snapp was born about March 1850 in Polk Co., MO, Headstone shows 1852, however he was living and listed as 7 months old on the 1850 census (19 OCT 1850).1 He married Sarah Elizabeth Crowley, daughter of James N. Crowley and Susan Emily Hargraves, in 1883 in Missouri, no children.2 James W. Snapp died in 1924. He was buried in 1924 in Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Clay Co., MO, Find A Grave Memorial# 40974459.
