Married Mae Shull April 26, 1974 in Crawfordsville. She survives.
Also surviving are daughters LeeAnna (Bill) Tucker, Julie (Frank) Pratt, Linda (Bill) Jones and Cheryl (Mitch) McIntire; sons Mike (Leanna) Rice, Marcus (Debra) and Jeff (Ella) Dulin; sister Lois (Gale) Ingalsbe; brothers Charlie Bob (Pat) and Byron (Shirley) Rice; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Barbara Austin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Lynn and a grandson Hyton Jones.
1957 graduate of Richland Township High School.
Served with the Indiana National Guard.
Lee was semi retired after farming and raising cattle for 68 years. He worked several years at R.R. Donnelley as a ‘pressman’ and was a sales representative for Garst Hybrid Seeds for over 40 years.
He enjoyed raising cattle and was a supporter of the 4-H program.
Lee was active in Hillsboro Masonic Lodge #385, Moose Lodge #6, American Legion Post 72 and Eagles all of Crawfordsville.
Funeral service 11am Wednesday, February 8 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate with Pastor Craig Carrell officiating.
Visitation 5-8pm Tuesday with a "Broken Circle Ceremony" by Moose Lodge #6 at the conclusion of the visitation, closing with a Masonic Service by F&AM Lodge #385, and one hour prior to service.
Memorial donations to Mellott Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.

Mae (Shull) Rice, age 81, a longtime rural Wingate resident, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Myers, FL. She was born in Crawfordsville, IN on September 3, 1939, daughter of the late Mina Merle Shull. She was married to Lloyd Lee Rice on April 26, 1974 in Crawfordsville and he preceded her in death on February 3, 2017. She was formerly married to Richard Dulin, who survives.
Mae had attended Coal Creek schools and retired after 30 plus years with R. R. Donnelley & Sons. She also assisted Lee on the farm. Mae joined the Women of the Moose in 1975 and was a 46-year active member of the Crawfordsville Moose Lodge, serving in all officer's positions, rising to Senior Regent. She was very proud of her work with the Moose and sponsored 43 members into the Lodge. She was a lifetime member and chaired many events. She achieved; College 2008, Past Regent 2007, Senior Regent 2006, and Academy Friends 2005. Mae moved from the farm near Wingate and moved to Florida in 2017 to be near her daughter.
Mae was proud of her children and encouraged them to work hard, be independent and stand on there own. She enjoyed bird watching, going out to eat and Bingo.
Surviving are seven children; one sister; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two nephews; and one niece. Mae was preceded in death by her mother; husband; and grandson, Hyton Jones.
Visitation hours are from 4:00–7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Family and Friends Funeral Home in Wingate with funeral services at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 with Pastor Craig Carrell officiating at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill-Grant Street Cemetery in Crawfordsville.

Grayville Man Killed at Taylorville
Raymond Darrell Lingafelter, 22, of Grayville, died early Saturday morning of injuries he suffered when he was run over by an automobile Saturday near Taylorville.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lorth of Newtonville said Lingafelter was lying in the right lane of Highway 104 at 2 a.m. Saturday when their westbound car hit the body.
Lingafelter, Jerry Bunting of Albion and three other men, had been in Kincaid Saturday evening. Lingafelter had worked his first day Saturday in an oilfield near Kincaid.
James Jordan, Christian County coroner, said the men reported they had left a Kincaid tavern at 11 p.m. and had been driven to the Ranch Motel about a mile from Kincaid. Lingafelter returned to town with the driver and was last seen in a tavern at 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Investigation as to how and why Lingefelter's body was stretched out on the highway is under way.
Lingafelter, Navy veteran, is survived by three sons, Allen Ray, Ricky Darrell and Joseph Robert; a brother, Larry of Grayville; a sister, Mrs. Tincie Wood, Grayville; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Lingefelter, Grayville; and a grandmother, Mrs. Tincie Rose of Metcalf.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Grayville Christian Church. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. The body is at the Sturm Funeral Home.
