The body of Mrs. Laura Warren, whose death occurred at Waterloo, Iowa, will arrive here today and funeral services will be held at the Noel Funeral Home Saturday.

Laura Hawkins was born in Pekin, and was a daughter of Riley and Adline Hawkins. She lived here for many years and after her marriage, which was to Albert Warren of Peoria, they moved to Chicago. Mr. Warren's death occurred many years ago.

Since her health began to fall, Mrs. Warren lived with her sister in Waterloo, and her death occurred there. She is survived by her mother and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Meyers and Mrs. Ida Blain all of Waterloo.

Michael D. Campbell

Michael D. Campbell, 69, Kansas City, Mo., died Thursday, February 21, 2013, after a lengthy battle with cancer. No Services. Donna Lee Wood Yates, 66, Houston, TX, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2000, at her home. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at Park Lawn Funeral Home; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Friends may call 1:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Donna was born December 14, 1933, in Cameron, MO. She was preceded in death by her mother, Violet Margarite Hetherington Kerns. She is survived by her father, Charles Emery Kerns; her sister, Charlene Cain; many nieces and nephews; her children, Susan Elaine Pichot, Steven Lloyd Yates; Stuart Richard Yates, Marilyn Anne Yates; grandchildren, Alex Michael Pichot, Nathalie Kerns Yates, Zachary Lloyd Yates, Jason Daniel Yates, Lindsay Nicole Garrett, and Brandon Michael Garrett.

She retired from Warren Electric after 17 years of devoted service. She fought a courageous year-and-a-half-long fight with cancer. She will be remembered as a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. The Yates family wants to express their thanks and appreciation to Kathy Rabito of Vista Care Family Hospice for her loving care and devotion to our mother this past year.
