FRANK BREUER DIES OF PNEUMONIA MONDAY
Frank Breuer, prominent Gasconade county farmer, died at his home near Red Bird on Bland Route One Monday morning. Mr. Breuer had been ill of pneumonia for two weeks. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday morning followed by services at the Oak Grove church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. H. H. Diestelkamp officiated.
Owensville Lodge No. 624 A.F. & A.M. of which Mr. Breuer was a charter member, conducted the services at the cemetery.
Mr. Breuer was 79 years of age. He is survived by his wife, five children – Houston Oliver Breuer of Fulton, William Adron Breuer of Pratt, Kansas; Carrie Leona Pietraschke of Owensville Route; Zoa Florence Ross of St. Louis and Aris Ezra Breuer of Jake Prairie. One daughter, Cora Elizabeth Howard, preceded him in death.
He also leaves fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Martin Paul Breuer William Hayes Breuer, Robert Eugene Breuer, Robert Eugene Breuer, Serena Sewell, Ransom A. Breuer, Louis Henry Breuer and Stella Kinkead.
Franklin Davison Breuer was born on October 2, 1859 near Red Bird. He was married to Francis E. Riley on September 22, 1879. She preceded him in death. On January 31, 1907, he was married to Mrs. Lizzie Jose Watson, who survives him.
Mr. Breuer made his home on Bland Route for 58 years.

OBITUARY OF JOHN WESLEY KLOSSNER

John Wesley Klossner, son of John Jacob and Malissa Klossner of Tuscumbia, Mo., was born July 2, 1858. He departed this life June 4, 1938 at Safe, Mo., being at the time of his death 79 years, 11 months and 2 days of age.
He was united in marriage to Malissa Farris, who preceded him in death in 1884. To this union was born one daughter, Mary, who died in infancy.
On April 7, 1892 he was united in marriage to Malissa Ellen Scantlin. To this union were born eight children. Willie, Clara and Effie preceded him in death early in life.
He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife and five children, Jessie of St. Louis, John of Safe, Mo. Malissia Glenn of St. James, Carrie Crider of Freeberg and Stella Tipton of St. Louis, Mo., also five grandchildren, Glendon and Wendel Klossner, Chalice Marie, Blanton and Willis Glenn, one sister, Sarah Inge of St. Louis, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Two brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
Uncle John was well-known as a pioneer of this country. He was always ready and willing to help in the time of need. He united wit Church of Christ November 1913 at Oak Grove, where he remained a faithful member until death. He was ready and willing to go at the calling of his Savior. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whom mind is stayed on thee. For he trusteth in thee.”
The funeral was conducted by Rev. J. F. Brand in the presence of a large concourse of friends at the Oak Grove Christian Church in Red Bird, Mo.
He was buried in June 1939 in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. James, Phelps Co., MO, Findagrave #27013674.
