Charles Johnson, 76, retired, died at his home at 405 Second avenue, following the suffering of a second heart attack. He had been in ill health for an extended time and suffered a first heart attack Sunday. His passing occurred at 2:45 o’clock Friday afternoon.
Until retiring in recent years because of ill health, he was an assembler at the former Prima Manufacturing company. His wife, Mrs. Tressie Cable Johnson, to whom he was married in Sidney on November 28, 1906, survives with their one daughter, Mrs. Laura Breckenridge, of Columbus, and a nephew, Harrison Cable, of Cincinnati, who was raised in their home as a son.
There are three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and the baby daughter of Harrison Cable surviving with one brother, John Johnson, who resided with the deceased and his wife.
Charles Johnson was a son of Joseph and Mary Ann Swiger Johnson, born on March 22, 1876, at Lena, Miami county.
Funeral rites are to be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Dearth Funeral home in charge of Rev. J. C. Inman of the Church of the Brethren. Burial will be in Cedar Point cemetery, Pasco.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Sunday until the funeral hour.

Lewis, Leonard R, 63, of Fairborn, passed away at the Soin Medical Center on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents Margaret (Hancock) Lewis and Thomas “Bud” Lewis. Leonard is survived by his wife, Sherri; children Ashley (Tad Adams) Lewis, Jesse (Amanda Mackaluso) Lewis, and Shannon (Justin Adams) Lewis; brothers Ron (Brenda) Lewis, Richard (Lisa) Lewis; grandchildren Tanner, Joshua, Colten and Grayson. Leonard loved his niece and nephews. He was employed at the K.E. Rose Company for over 23 years. He loved the Kentucky Wildcats, enjoyed watching NASCAR and scary movies, loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren. A walkthrough visitation will be held Monday, July 20, 2020 from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM at the Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St, Fairborn, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Pastor Kevin Moehn officiating. Interment Byron Cemetery.

Mrs. John D. Reeves
Mrs. John D. Reeves, formerly Miss Maude Broce, of this city, died at Memorial Hospital in Johnson City yesterday morning at 10:40 o'clock. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Munsey Memorial Church in Johnson City.
Mrs. Reeves is survived by her husband, to whom she was married last July; her mother, Mrs. Ida Broce; five sisters, Mrs. N. H. Price, Miss Florence Broce, Mrs. J. C. Heaberlin, Mrs. C. F. hawk; and two brothers, J. Arthur Broce, of Roanoke, Va., and Harvey Broce, of Johnson City.
