Youth Suffers Burns in Garage Blast

MODESTO OFFICE STOCKTON RECORD, Dec. 12.--J. Wayne Boyd, 22, living at Route 5, Box 1798, Modesto, is in the county hospital in a serious condition from second degree burns on his hands, arms and legs received Saturday evening when gasoline became ignited in the garage at his home while he was working n an automobile.

The injured youth was reported resting easy today but attending physicians said his condition was serious. He was unable to say how the gaoline (sic) became ignited.
