Josephine M. Clapper, 96, of Georgetown, Delaware, died at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Harrison Senior Living. She was born July 31, 1912, in Mansoreta, Italy, a daughter of the late Joseph and Felmona Nardi Manno. She was a member of the Fair Oaks Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Joan E. Hina of Millsboro, Delaware; three brothers, Joseph Manno of Garrettsville, OH., Ralph Manno of Richmond, KY. and James Manno of Grafton, WV; a sister, Victoria Sallese of Port Orange, Florida; two grandchildren, Adam C. Hina of Allen, Texas and Rhonda Hina Davis of Dagsboro, Delaware; two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Helen Davis of Dagsboro, Delaware.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Clapper, who died October 8, 1988 and a sister, Mary Carkido.
No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2008 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Carl Finley officiating. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.

Ronald "Ronnie" Hina
Zanesville - Ronald (Ronnie) L. Hina , 76, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away peacefully at Adams Lane Care Center on Tue. Feb. 6, 2018. Born in Muskingum County, Ron was the proud owner of the iconic Tiny Tap and Wilbur Motor Sales. He loved singing karaoke, raising honey bees and fixing up old cars. Ron was known as a very generous and friendly man who always had a joke to tell.
Ron is survived by his loving soul mate of over 30 years, Diana Lou DeLong, his son, Adam Hina (Vicky), daughter Rhonda Davis (Lincoln), and granddaughters, Hannah and Helen Davis. Surviving siblings include Dorothy JoAnn Chambers (Herb), Shelby Snelling, Wilbur Hina (Mary Alice), Sandra Jarrett (Jerry), Larry Hina, Karen Chapman, Clyde Hina (Vicki), Chuck Hina (Sue), Sara Schulze, and Russell Hina (Cindy), numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins, and supportive, caring family members and friends including Melissa Shook, Mary Lou Hall, his life-long friend Doug McCullough, and two special cats Rosie and Baby.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur R. and Dorathy E. Hina, sister Donna J. Hicks, brother-in-laws Dick Snelling, Wayne J. Latier, Roger Chapman, and nephew Wayne A. Latier.
A Memorial Service will be held at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive in White Cottage on Sat. Feb. 10, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. Visiting hours will be from 1:00 p.m. -3:30 p.m. concluding with a memorial service.
In May, the family plans to have a Celebration of his Life for family and friends to attend.

ROSEVILLE: Dorathy Eva "Dora" Dodson Hina, 96, of Roseville, passed away at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at her home.
She was born on June 17, 1916 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Washington L. and Eva (McCammon) Dodson. She was a homemaker all of her life, raising 12 children and finished raising five grandchildren after the death of her daughter Donna in December of 1968. She was a member of Rolling Plains United Methodist Church.
Dora is survived by six sons, Wilbur (Mary Alice) of Zanesville, Ronnie of Zanesville, Larry of Duncan Falls, Clyde (Vicki) of Zanesville, Chuck (Sue) of Roseville, and Russell (Cindy) of Zanesville; five daughters, Dorothy Joann (Herb) Chambers of Zanesville, Shelby Snelling of Roseville, Sandra (Jerry) Jarrett of South Zanesville, Karen Chapman of White Cottage, and Sara Hina-Schulze of Stow, Ohio; one brother, David (Betty) Dodson of Zanesville; three sisters-in-law, Margie Dodson, Betty Dodson, and Dorothy Dodson; 41 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren, and 25 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur R. Hina who passed away August 27, 1973; one daughter, Donna June Hicks; one grandson, Wayne Latier; one great grandson, Jeremy Latier; one great great grandson, Wyatt Good; seven brothers, Harry, Halley, Gerald, Roy, Smith, Paul, and Clyde; her two sisters, Katherine Scott and Lala Smitley; sons-in-law, Wayne Latier, Dick Snelling, Roger Chapman, and Kurt Schulze.
Calling hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 and 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2012 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at the funeral home. Rev. Paul Ashbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rolling Plains United Methodist Church.

Douglas Charles Cantonwine was born in Cedar Rapids on Dec. 14, 1963, to Donald and Darlene Cantonwine Sr. He departed this world on Aug. 4, 2012.
Doug loved his family unconditionally. He was an avid cook, enjoyed playing bingo and loved his dog, Buddy.
Doug is survived by his brothers, Donald Jr., Darwin and Daniel (Julia); a sister, Susan (Steve) White; nieces, Amanda, Audra, Ann and Angela; great-nieces, Adriana, Alivia, Alycia, Alexandria, Amira and Adison; nephews, Andrew and Joey; and great-nephew, Avery.
He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David; and a nephew, Daniel.
Please join the family in a Celebration of Life and a luncheon to be held at noon, Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the Elks Lodge, 801 33rd Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids.
