Marilyn A. Cunningham, 69, of Belpre, Ohio known by her grandchildren as "MiMi" died at the Hospice House in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Parkersburg, WV on May 17, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Lawrence Etsel and Beatrice Berneda Deem Dowler. She had attended various churches in the Valley. She started her working career at the Union Trust Bank, then went to work for Remington Rand, Shell Chemical and retired in 2001 from Borg Warner/ G.E. Plastics.
Survivors include her husband Craig Cunningham, her son Curt Emerson (Jaclyn) Cunningham of New Albany, Ohio, a daughter, Leslie (Zach) McCain of Parkersburg, WV, her grandchildren, Sawyer and Lila McCain. Also surviving are her brothers Larry (Judie) Dowler of Madison, Ohio, Jim Dowler of Belpre, Ohio, her sisters, Charlene (Ronnie) Digman of Perry, Ohio and Martha (Rod) Stewart of Belpre, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
Services will be on Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Nathan Greene officiating. Emtombment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ill. - Carl Leon Cunningham, Belpre, Ohio, died Dec. 7, 2009.
A member of the U.S. Army, he served in the WWII Air Corps and flew B-17 bombers from 1944 till February of 1945, having flown 25 missions as a co-pilot and formation control officer. He received several medals and was discharged as a captain.
He retired from Elkem Metals.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Cunningham; one son, Craig Cunningham; two daughters, Angie Cunningham and Carla Montgomery; and two sisters, Esther Brumley and Betty Tharp.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. CST Friday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 10 a.m. CST to the time of the service Friday.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society, P.O. Box 392, Parkersburg, WV 26102 in memory of Mindy and Princess.
