Zella DeVault
Mrs. Zella R. DeVault, 99, Gray, went to be with Jesus on Monday, April 18, 2005, at NHC Healthcare Center (where she was a resident).
She was the daughter of the late A. J. Isenberg Sr. and Lou Hawk Isenberg. She was a lifelong resident of the Gray Community. Mrs. DeVault attended Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Namoi Church School Class. She was a homemaker and in her early years taught school.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde A. DeVault, a sister, Kate Hodge, a brother, A. J. Isenberg Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Salts and Sally Hicks of Gray; a son and wife, Clyde and Barbara DeVault of Gray; Six grandsons, Danny and Phil Sells, Shannon Salts, Tim Hicks, Kenneth & Gerald DeVault; Two granddaughters, Luanna Wheelock and Alisa Rogers; eight great-granddaughters and eleven great-grandsons; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:15 Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Gray Funeral Chapel. Services will be held immediately following at 8:30 p.m. Officiating will be Dr. Gene Lasley, Rev. Amy Cook and Rev. Ramon Torris. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2005, at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Gray Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and CNAs of Station One at NHC Nursing Facilities.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gray United Methodist Church or Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church.
She was buried in April 2005 in Gray Community Cemetery, Gray, Washington Co., TN, Findagrave #100625320.

Bonduel Clinic founder dies
BONDUEL (PG) -- Memorial services for Dr. William W. Grover Jr., 64, founder of the Bonduel Clinic, have been scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Shawano.
Grover died Saturday at his home in Bonduel.
The doctor established the Bonduel Clinic in 1957, along with his wife Patricia, who also is a doctor.
He was active in the community, serving on the Bonduel School Board since 1967 and serving as health officer for Bonduel and the towns of Hartland and Lesor.
He served for five years as president of the Shawano County Chapter of the American Cancer Society and was county coordinator of the Emergency Medical Technician training program.
He served on the council of the Shawano County Nutrition Program for the Elderly, the Northeast Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services Council and the Shawano County Health Systems Agency advisory Committee. He was a board member of the Northeast Wisconsin Health Systems Agency and was a former president.
Grover was president of the Shawano County Medical Society in 1965 and served as a delegate since 1974 to the State Medical Society of Wisconsin.
Grover graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He taught physics at Washington & Lee University and Virginia Military Institute. For two years he was a research chemist for Eastman Kodak Co.
He was an instructor of biochemistry and clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of South Dakota. He also conducted private medical practice at Yangton, S.D.
Memorial gifts may be donated to the fund Dr. and Mrs. Grover established for the eventual construction of an indoor swimming pool at Bonduel High School.
Dr. William Wesley Grover, Jr., was graduated in Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Rockbridge Co., VA. He was graduated in University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Albemarle Co., VA. He received a degree in University of South Dakota, Vermillion, Clay Co., SD. He received a degree in University of Colorado, Denver, CO.
