APPLE CREEK -- Robert J. Clippinger, 75, 99 Evergreen Lane,died Saturday evening, Oct. 31, 1998, at Massillon Community Hospital. Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with Chuck Craig officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Robert L. Clippinger of West Salem and Dennis H. Clippinger of Wooster; grandchildren, Heather, Heidi, Chad, Dawn and Dustin; and great-grandchildren, Devin and Summer Soto.

Miriam Evelyn Dunn

MANSFIELD: Miriam Evelyn Dunn, 98, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday evening, October 22, 2016, at Arbors of Mifflin. She was born April 8, 1918, in Knox County, Ohio, to the late Clyde D. and Mary (Clippenger) Hunter.

Growing up in a large family helped to foster the skills she possessed that made her a wonderful homemaker. Miriam loved being outside, working in her garden. She found great pleasure and peace being surrounded by her grandchildren and traveling the back roads of Ohio. Miriam was a member of Linden Road Presbyterian Church where she made many friends over the years.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Rice of Mentor, OH, Melinda (Daniel) Drouhard of Mansfield, and Melissa Brauchler of Smithville, OH; a son, David (Judy) Dunn of Lexington, OH; eight grandchildren, Susan (Sonny) Compton, Deborah Dunn, Kathryn (Stephen) Nemeth, Denise (Brad) Wurst, Jennifer (Ron) Stephan, Tara Drouhard, Timothy (Erica) Drouhard, and Christine (Owen) Jones, nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Dintaman and Freida Beech; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. Smith Dunn; two sons, John Dunn and Jerry Dunn; two sisters, Iona Compton and Esther King; and three brothers, George, Bill and David Hunter.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Roy Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Brandon Methodist Church, 13492 Sycamore Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
