Tim Flaherty
December 9, 1952 – May 27, 2024 (age 71)
Coach Tim Flaherty of Hartville, Ohio, beloved husband of Meredith Flaherty for 46 years, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2024. Amazing dad to two devoted children: Dennis Kelly (Diana) Flaherty and Katie Flaherty Lynch. Fantastic Papa to eight grandchildren: Sean, Julianne, Abigail, Connor, Jackson, Brian, Liam, and Julia.
Played, coached, and mentored football for 63 years. “88” started for Akron University at tight end for 3 years. Coached at Akron University for 2 years, then married, and began his high school coaching career. Tim was an advanced mathematics teacher for 35 years. Tim also spent 13 years training seeing eye dogs, and currently has two family dogs, Buddy and Max.
Tim is also survived by his sisters Peggy and Jude and brother Tom. Tim has many nieces and nephews, including god-daughters Samantha and Kathy.
We will be celebrating Tim’s last “Friday Night Lights” on May 31, 2024, from 3:00-6:00 at Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville, OH. We invite everyone to wear their favorite jersey, uniform, or sports team apparel to honor Tim.

GLENROCK MAN KILLED BY CONCERETE SLAB
Theodore "Ted" R. Munsinger, 51, was killed instantly Tuesday afternoon at Glenrock while working at the Phillips Petroleum Well No. 1, about one block from the business section. Mr. Munsinger, who was head of the Munsinger Ditching Co., was crushed to death when a slab of concrete fell on him. His wife and two sons were at the scene when the accident occurred. The fatality happened during operations to abandon the well.
Ted was the son of Guy and Bell Munsinger. He attended school at Thermopolis, Wyoming and for a number of years was engaged as a driller in the oil fields. For the past ten years he headed the firm of T. R. Munsinger and Sons, ditching and drilling contractors. Mr. Munsinger was married to Miss Irene Sterling and to this union five children were born, four of whom survive. In addition to Mrs. Munsinger, survivors include three sons, John C. Munsinger and Floyd W. Munsinger, all of Glenrock; one daughter, Mrs. Leonard Burch of Laramie; his father, Guy Munsinger of Glenrock; two sisters, Mrs. Clare (Minnie) McElhinny of Casper and Mrs. Effie McArthur of California; two brothers, William Munsinger of California and Edward Munsinger of Montana; and five grandchildren. One son, Leonard, died in infancy.
He was buried in December 1954 in Glenrock Cemetery, Glenrock, Converse Co., WY, Findagrave #88681601.

She was united in marriage to Roy R. Spencer, November 13, 1942, in Alliance, NE. She is survived by 2 children, Janet Marie Kindle of Yuma, AZ., and Richard Roy Spencer and wife Paulette of Roscoe, MT., 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her sisters, Alice Kimball of Glenrock, WY., Mildred Jacobson and husband Bill of Yuma, AZ.., and brother Melvin Munsinger and wife Sharon of Dodson, MT., and nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, a son, a grandson and 3 brothers.
Nellie was raised, attended school, and lived in Glenrock, WY. until 1952 when she, her husband, and family moved to Malta, MT., where they ranched south of Malta for many years. After retirement, they enjoyed many winters in the Yuma, AZ. area where they later bought a home and resided until death.
Nellie will be laid to rest with her husband in Glenrock, Wyoming.
She was buried in October 2008 in Glenrock, Converse Co., WY.
Note: Nellie (Munsinger) Spencer worked extensively on the Munsinger family genealogy during the 1970s and 1980s. She organized a Munsinger family reunion at the Alice Munsinger Kimball ranch south of Glenrock, Wyoming on June 7, 1981, and another in 1982 at Custer, South Dakota at the Custer State Game Lodge.
