Ralph W. LONES, 84, of 315 Rice St., died in Community Hospital Friday at 7:30 a.m. following three months of serious illness. Mr. LONES was born June 7, 1895 in Milledgeville, O., a son of John and Harriett EVERGALL LONES . He was a former employee of the Springfield Metallic Casket Co., and the O.S. Kelly Co. He attended Blessed Hope Baptist Church, was a World War I veteran and member of Clark County Chapter No. 13 D.A.V. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy SHEPARD of Springfield and Mrs. Raymond (Florence) PARRISH of Cable; two sons, James K. with whom he resided, and Clifford, of Fruitport, Mich., 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ethel ROCKHOLD of Washington C.H.; one brother, Ernest of Bellefontaine; and several nieces and nephews. His wife, Minnie E., died Dec. 2, 1972. A daughter, Betty, also is deceased. Friends may call at the Littleton Funeral Home Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held there Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery in Fayette County.
Ralph Wick Lones began military service WWI service.
