Biography

Maude Noel was born about 1872 in Mills Co. (probably), IA, Date per 1880 census. Birth date per funeral memorial card was 23 FEB 1880 -- perhaps her age was "enhanced."1 She married John W. Atkinson about 1898. She and John W. Atkinson were divorced. She married Vergil Dishman about 1904. She died on 25 November 1968 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO.

Note:

Maude left John Atkinson about 1903 and ran off with Vergil Dishman. Perry was then approx 4 years old.

Perry left Missouri approx 1911. His dad took him to Montana ... apparently to hide him from Maude. Perry apparently did know Evangeline in his early youth.... but we have no idea how often they ever met.

1920 Missouri census shows Maude (Noel) Dishman age 39* (born Iowa). In 1920 living at 818 The Paseo, Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri with her second husband Vergil Dishman.

Maude Noel lived in 1920 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO.
