Henry William Abbate
89, left us on May 22, 2010 to be with his wife, Suzanne, preceded him in death. Hank was born in Qunicy (sic), Michigan on October 2, 1920. He was a US Marine during World War II and a long time member of the Marine Corps League and the First Marine Division Association. Hank and Sue moved to Tucson in 1976. He became a member of the Tucson Rodeo Parade Committee and truly enjoyed his experiences restoring wagons and assisting as a foot marshal during the parade each February.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel (Linda) and Gary (Christine); his grandchildren, Amy Ann Rex and Adam Abbate and three great-grandchildren, Alyssa Rex, Serena Rex, and Dominik Abbate.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Southlawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park Ave. Tucson. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Henry's name to Casa de la Luz Hospice Foundation, 400 W. Magee, Tucson, AZ 85704.

CAMBRIDGE, O -- Mrs. Betty Lyons Warnock who resides with her parents in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Warnock, 817 Harrison avenue, has been notified by the war department that her husband, Pfc. Frank Warnock was killed in action in Germany March 18.
A former employe of the Cambridge Dairy Co. and a graduate of the local high school, he had been active in athletics. Volunteering in the service, he was inducted July 10, 1944 and has been an infantryman in France and Germany since going overseas in January.
In addition to his widow and parents he is survived by one brother Fred who is with the U.S. Army Air Forces in India, and his grandmother, Mrs. Martha Marsh Bridgeport.
Frank Elbert Warnock began military service on 10 July 1944 in Guernsey Co., OH, WW II service, U.S. Army, enlisted, admitted to hospital with arm and thorax wounds from artillery fire, March 1945.
