Comic to appear in Fernley Sat.
The Firehouse Pizza will be presenting the famed Jay Wendell Walker this Saturday night, February 25.
Walker has been described by critical reviewers as “The Classic Comic”. Raised in a family of vaudeville performers, his career began at the age of eighteen when he joined the carnival. “Show Biz” took Walker as far south as Mexico and as far north as State Line Idaho, where he began learning his comic craft.
Jay Wendell’s rapid fire monologue, story-telling and hilarious facial expressions have gained him recent success in showcases at Reno’s MGM Grand Hotel, Caesar’s Tahoe, Pasadena’s Ice House, and the Sahara in Las Vegas.
The Seattle Times said, “A bargain at twice the price to see the likes of Jay Wendell Walker.”
