Mrs. Louise Hendershot died at her home in Batesville, Saturday, March 9, at midnight after a week's illness of pneumonia. Her maiden name was Finley. She was born May 25, 1829. In 1873 she was married to Michael Hendershot, who deceased several years ago. One stepson, Chas. Hendershot, survives. She had, for some time, been living alone.

She was buried in March 1912 in Batesville Cemetery, Batesville, Noble Co., OH, Findagrave #198651327.

Note: Unmarried as of 1870 census.¹
